The same is true for metal versus acetate frames for glasses. Sometimes I experiment with different materials just to see how they feel in daily life. Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity. For daily use items I try to balance price, build quality and real user feedback.

If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

I also pay attention to return policy and customer service response time. Some charts are very generic and do not match real measurements at all. Of course shipping delays can happen, but good communication reduces stress. Otherwise they become clutter in the closet after the trend is over. Personally I like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing. A product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival. Loose hinges make the glasses slide down the nose again and again. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking.

Maybe this is useful for someone.
